Age Limit
Minimum: 18 years | Maximum: 42 years (with category-based relaxations)
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university in any discipline.

APPSC Group 2 Exam Pattern
Screening Test
- The Screening Test is an objective-type examination consisting of 150 multiple-choice questions, which must be answered within 150 minutes.
- There is a 0.33 penalty for each incorrect answer.
- The syllabus for the screening test will be from General Studies and Mental Ability.
Main Examination
The Main Examination is also an objective-type examination conducted in two papers, Paper I and Paper II. Each Paper has 150 multiple-choice questions with a duration of 150 minutes. There will be a 0.33 negative mark for each wrong answer.
- Paper I Syllabus – Social and Cultural History of Andhra Pradesh, Indian Constitution.
- Paper II Syllabus – India and AP Economy, Science and Technology.
Computer Proficiency Test
A CPT practical exam is conducted in a qualifying manner. The total duration of this exam is 60 minutes. The Assessment pattern of this exam is in two parts: Part A and Part B.
