Theme of this year: <strong>Older Persons Driving Local and Global Action: Our Aspirations, Our Well-Being and Our Rights<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"gst-reforms-in-andhra-pradesh\"><strong>GST Reforms in Andhra Pradesh<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Goods and Services Tax (GST) rate rationalisation has given a strong boost to Andhra Pradesh\u2019s economy by reducing costs across major sectors \u2014 fisheries, dairy, automobiles, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, renewable energy, and handicrafts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Andhra Pradesh, which contributes 41% of India\u2019s fish production, will now benefit from reduced GST (12\u201318% to 5%) on fish oils, gear, pumps, and chemicals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The dairy sector, supporting 24 lakh farmers, gains as milk and paneer become tax-free, and ghee, butter, and ice-cream get 5\u20137% cheaper \u2014 boosting rural incomes and consumer demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the automobile sector, GST cuts from 28% to 18% make cars, bikes, and autos 8% cheaper, aiding hubs in Anantapur, Chittoor, Nellore, and Visakhapatnam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pharma and MedTech, with 250+ drug units and 100+ device makers, will see healthcare costs drop by 7\u201313%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Renewable energy will also benefit as GST on solar and wind equipment drops from 12% to 5%, helping create 7.5 lakh green jobs by 2030.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Traditional sectors too will gain \u2014 Araku Coffee, Kondapalli and Etikoppaka toys, Leather Puppetry from Anantpur, Nellore and Guntur, and Durgi (Guntur) and Allagadda (Nandhyal) stone carvings will now have lower GST (12% to 5%), making local products more affordable and globally competitive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\" id=\"hindu-current-affairs\"><strong>\u0c39\u0c3f\u0c02\u0c26\u0c42 \u0c15\u0c30\u0c46\u0c02\u0c1f\u0c4d \u0c05\u0c2b\u0c48\u0c30\u0c4d\u0c38\u0c4d<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"appointments\"><strong>\u0c28\u0c3f\u0c2f\u0c3e\u0c2e\u0c15\u0c3e\u0c32\u0c41<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Central Industrial Security Force Director General &#8211;
