Its main objective is to protect the tribal culture, customs, and administration by giving them autonomy in governance. The sixth schedule applies to four North-Eastern states Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura, and Mizoram.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<strong>\u0c2e\u0c41\u0c16\u0c4d\u0c2f \u0c32\u0c15\u0c4d\u0c37\u0c23\u0c3e\u0c32\u0c41:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Autonomous District Councils (ADCs): Each tribal area is governed by an Autonomous District Council (25 members: 30 seats in some states).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Councils have both legislative and judicial powers on specified subjects.
