Infantry Day – 27 October

India observed Infantry Day on 27 October 2025, marking the 79th anniversary of the Indian Army’s first military action after Independence. The day commemorates October 27, 1947, when Indian troops of the 1st Battalion of the Sikh Regiment were airlifted to Srinagar to repel the Pakistan-backed tribal invasion in Jammu & Kashmir.

Ikshak – Survey Vessel

The Indian Navy is set to commission ‘Ikshak’, the third ship of the Survey Vessel (Large) [SVL] class, on 06 November 2025 at Naval Base Kochi. The Ikshak vessel was built by Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers (GRSE) Ltd.

The Supreme Court of India has expressed serious concern over the growing menace of “digital arrests”  , a new form of cybercrime in which fraudsters impersonate judges, police officers, or CBI officials using forged documents and AI-generated visuals to extort money from victims.

Government Approves ₹5,532 Crore Investment Under Electronics Manufacturing Component Scheme

The Government of India has approved the first batch of seven projects under the Electronics Components Manufacturing Scheme (ECMS), with a total investment of ₹5,532 crore.

Syrma Strategic Electronics Private Limited is the Unit located in Andhra Pradesh (Naidupeta) which produces Multi Layer Printed Circuited Board got ₹765 crore investment.
