Mrityunjayi

India Internet Governance Forum (IIGF-2025)
The fifth edition of the India Internet Governance Forum (IIGF-2025) concluded after two days of discussions at the India Habitat Centre and India International Centre. Theme of the India Internet Governance Forum 2025: “Advancing Internet Governance for an Inclusive and Sustainable Viksit Bharat”.
IIGF is India’s national chapter of the United Nations Internet Governance Forum (UN-IGF) and was established in 2021. It follows a multi-stakeholder model, where government, civil society, industry, academia, and the technical community participate with equal importance.
Disaster Management Conference 2025
The three-day World Disaster Management Conference 2025 was held in Dehradun, organised by the Uttarakhand State Council for Science & Technology (UCOST). Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav addressed the event via video message, highlighting the importance of science- and technology-based disaster forecasting and preparedness.

India’s Q2 GDP grows at 8.2%
India’s economic momentum strengthened in FY 2025–26 with real GDP expanding by 8.2% in Q2 and 8% in H1, reaffirming India’s position as the fastest-growing major economy. Consumer Price Inflation dropped to 0.25% in October 2025. India is projected to become the world’s 3rd largest economy by 2030 with GDP expected to touch USD 7.3 trillion, backed by strong domestic demand and structural reforms.
