It is implemented in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) and Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRSs) to help students learn about:

The MYGS simulation is conducted like a real Gram Sabha:
- Agenda circulated 10 days before the meeting.
- Students conduct discussions, debates, and budget planning.
- Votes and decisions are recorded officially.
- Resolutions are drafted and finalized by the “Sarpanch” (student leader).
This gives students an authentic exposure to governance, finance, and local planning.

Teacher Facilitation Module – pictorial guide for classroom implementation.
Evaluation Framework – assesses pre, during, and post-event outcomes.
This ensures consistent quality and measurable learning outcomes across schools.

- ₹20,000 grant per school to conduct the Model Gram Sabha.
- Certificates of appreciation for participants from the Ministry of Panchayati Raj.
- Regional-level token cash awards and National-level cash prizes for top 3 teams.
