There are total 3 smart cities in Andhra Pradesh.

- Kopparthy Indutrial Area being developed within the Vizag Chennai Industrial Corridor (VCIC).
- Krishnapatnam Industrial Area is being developed within the Chennai Bengaluru Industrial Corridor (CBIC).
National Industrial Corridor Program (NICP)
The National Industrial Corridor Program (NICP) is a Government of India initiative aimed at developing world-class industrial cities across the country, with smart infrastructure, integrated transport, and sustainable urban planning.
It is implemented by the National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (NICDC) (formerly DMICDC), which coordinates with state governments and central ministries.
The budget for the National Industrial Corridor Development Program (NICDP) includes a total project cost of ₹28,602 crore for 12 industrial smart cities approved in August 2024. Additionally, the Union Budget 2025-26 has allocated ₹2,500 Crore for developing “plug and play” industrial parks.
