MY Bharat National Service Scheme Awards 2022-23

The President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, presented the MY Bharat National Service Scheme (NSS) Awards 2022–23 at Rashtrapati Bhavan on October 6, 2025.

These awards were introduced by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports in 1993–94, these awards honor outstanding contributions of youth and institutions in the fields of social service, community development, and nation-building.

The MY Bharat-NSS program was originally introduced in 1969 during the birth centenary of Mahatma Gandhi to foster volunteerism, discipline, and civic responsibility among students.

DDWS signed a MoA with BISAG-N

The Department of Drinking Water & Sanitation (DDWS) under the Ministry of Jal Shakti has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the Bhaskaracharya National Institute for Space Applications and Geo-informatics (BISAG-N) to enhance digital monitoring of rural water and sanitation.

This collaboration will lead to the development of a GIS-integrated Decision Support Platform for the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) and Swachh Bharat Mission (Grameen).
