The APPSC Group 1 exam is one of the most prestigious recruitment examinations conducted by the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC). APPSC has officially released the Group-1 Services Brief Notification No. 07/2026 on 15 September 2026 on its official website (psc.ap.gov.in). Eligible candidates can apply online from 06 October 2026 to 27 October 2026. APPSC Group I Age Limit

The APPSC Group I age limit generally falls between 18 and 42 years, with relaxation applicable for reserved categories as per government rules.

Age relaxation is provided for categories such as:

What Changed in the 2026 Syllabus? (Telugu Qualifying Paper)

The only change in the 2026 notification compared to 2023 is in the Telugu Qualifying Paper. All other papers (Screening Test, English Qualifying Paper, and Mains Papers I–V) remain identical. Here is what changed:

The APPSC Group 1 pay scales vary depending on the post. As per Notification No. 07/2026, the pay scales range from ₹54,060 – 1,40,540 at the entry level up to ₹65,360 – 1,54,980 for the highest-scale post (Divisional Development Officer).
