Centre Approves ₹38,000 Crore Fertiliser Subsidy
Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for approving a ₹38,000 crore fertiliser subsidy to support farmers during the ongoing crop season.
Ministry of Coal launched CLAMP and Koyla Shakti Portals
The Ministry of Coal launched two transformative digital platforms the CLAMP Portal and the Koyla Shakti Dashboard.
1. CLAMP Portal (Coal Land Acquisition, Management, and Payment):
- A unified digital platform designed to streamline and digitize land acquisition, compensation, and rehabilitation & resettlement (R&R) processes in the coal sector.
- Acts as a centralized repository of land records, integrating real-time data from coal PSUs.
- Enhances transparency, accountability, and coordination while reducing delays and data duplication.
2. Koyla Shakti Dashboard:
- A digital decision-support system integrating the entire coal value chain from mine to market.
- Facilitates coordination among coal companies, railways, ports, and end users.
World Stroke Day – October 29
World Stroke Day is observed on October 29 to promote awareness on high rates of stroke, and prevention and treatment of the condition.
The World Stroke Day 2025 Theme is “Every Minute Counts”.
WaveX signed a MoU with T-Hub to Boost India’s Media-Tech Startup Ecosystem
- The Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (I&B) announced that its startup accelerator initiative, WaveX, has signed an MoU with T-Hub, the world’s largest startup hub, to strengthen India’s media-tech and creative startup ecosystem.
- The partnership aims to empower startups in the AVGC-XR sector — Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, Comics, and Extended Reality — which is rapidly emerging as a key driver of India’s creative economy.
WaveX
WaveX, launched under the WAVES initiative of the Ministry of I&B, was first showcased during the WAVES Summit 2025 in Mumbai, where over 100 startups participated in pitching sessions.
T-Hub
T-Hub, based in Hyderabad, currently supports over 2,000 startups and serves as a key facilitator for innovation and entrepreneurship programs like iDEX, Atal Incubation Centres, and MATH (Machine Learning and AI Technology Hub).

- Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) and United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) of Russia have signed an MoU for the production of the civil commuter aircraft SJ-100.
- The SJ-100 (Superjet 100) is a twin-engine, narrow-body aircraft used for short-haul routes; over 200 aircraft are already in service with 16 commercial airline operators worldwide.
