Selection Process
AP Police SI Selection Procedure
The AP Police SI selection process has four stages. Candidates must clear each stage to progress to the next. No negative marks in Prelims.
Prelims Written Test
2 Papers × 100 marks each. Paper I: Arithmetic + Reasoning. Paper II: General Studies. No negative marks.
Physical Measurement Test
Height, chest and weight measurements as per category — General and ST norms applied separately.
Physical Efficiency Test
1600 metre run (1 mile) and one of 100 metre run or long jump for Post Code 11. All three events for Post Code 13.
Main Examination
4 papers — Paper I and II descriptive, Paper III and Paper IV objective (200 MCQs each).
